Law, Justice & Order

Law, justice, and order are concepts that are interconnected as they are fundamental to the functioning of societies in a smooth manner. However, while the majority of people realize that these concepts are interconnected not everyone understands the exact connection between them.

Law in general refers to the rules of the land, while justice is a reference to its moral code. Finally, order is predominantly a reference to the way the land runs and its level of stability.

Naturally, it is fairly obvious that these terms have several ways in which they interlace. Order cannot be achieved without laws that help determine what is acceptable behavior in society. Similarly, Justice helps ensure that all members of society are functioning in a way that has been socially deemed to be acceptable. Justice which is predominantly related to morality also plays an important role in the creation of laws, as it helps determine which behaviors are considered undesirable in society.

A government is tasked with balancing these three terms to achieve a balance where a state can exist in a stable manner and where members of society can benefit from the societal standards that have been set. For this achieved government officials are often to collaborate with law enforcement, legal practitioners, and members of society to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding the laws that are in place.
